Powers That Be Say: Stay Off Our Lawn!

Welcome to the City of Duluth ~ where the welfare of grass comes before that of unhoused people. Right after police evicted folks from the homeless encampment in front of City Hall on Wednesday, they fenced off the area and brought in crews to begin "restoration" of the grass. The powers that be decided it was more important to spend thousands of dollars for three dozen police officers, multiple dump trucks, fencing and lawn maintenance workers for this oh so precious grass, rather than help rehouse a single homeless citizen.
