On the evening of
July 12 a small but spirited band set off from the Gaza protest camp for a
march through downtown Duluth. Their chants reverberated off Duluth’s high-rise
buildings as the marched and handed out leaflets. The protesters got supportive cheers from
numerous passing motorists and pedestrians.
These marches will
be taking place every Friday, leaving from City Hall at 6pm. They are organized
by Twin Ports Anti-Imperialist Action, along with others. Thank you to everyone
who was able to make it out on the 12th, and a special thank you to the chant
leaders! The struggle continues!
