Hundreds March for Palestine During DFL Convention

Several hundred people from the Twin Ports, Twin Cities, and numerous communities in between, gathered in Duluth on June 1 to protest the ongoing Israeli assault in Gaza.  The protest began with a rally in front of the Duluth City Hall.  Afterwards, a march was held down to the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center where the DFL was holding its convention.  Despite efforts by the DFL and local authorities, protesters refused to be confined to the tiny "free speech" zone that had been set up for them, and made their voices heard throughout the harbor district of Duluth.
